Federal Income Tax for Your Business - SCORE Workshop
Joel Shabsin will present what businesses need to know about tax laws and how they affect their business.
Joel is a retired CPA who owned and operated a public accounting firm that specialized in small business tax, accounting and consulting issues for 42 years. The firm served over 130 business clients each year ranging from start ups to mature companies and over 650 individual clients with their annual accounting, consulting and tax needs. Prior to starting his own firm he worked at Price Waterhouse & Co for several years in their small business division and in several large and small manufacturing companies in various accounting and management positions.
SCORE - Counselors to America's Small Business - is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business in the US.
The workshop is presented by SCORE Chicago, City of Highland Park's Office of Economic Development, Highland Park Chamber of Commerce, and the Library.
