SAVE THE DATE: THE ART CENTER - HIGHLAND PARK'S 56th ANNUAL GALA

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (FEBRUARY 2016) – The Art Center – Highland Park (TAC) is reminding the public to save the date for its upcoming 56th Annual Benefit Gala: "Art of Expression" on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 7 p.m. This is TAC’s largest fundraising event of the fiscal year and money raised will fund art scholarships, classes, workshops, exhibitions, events and programs to make art accessible to everyone throughout the year.

Celebrated arts professionals, leaders and supporters are expected to gather for the highly anticipated annual event, while enjoying fabulous food and entertainment. This year, TAC will present awards to three honorees whose donation and support of the arts help TAC in a meaningful way. 

“The gala is by far our largest event of the year that supports major operating expenses of The Art Center, as well as scholarships throughout the year. We rely on events like the gala to raise critical funds needed to serve our community and sustain our work,” says Gabrielle Rousso, Executive Director of TAC. “Now is the time to gain the support of event sponsors and donors as we announce the date for our 2016 Gala.”

This imaginative event is underwritten by generous donations from sponsors who take pride in keeping art alive in the community and expanding the art experience to those who may otherwise not be able to afford it. Sponsorship levels range from $500 to $10,000 and supports up to 10 scholarships students as well as underwrite exhibits, classes and workshops for one full year.

In the three months leading up to the Gala, TAC is looking for sponsors and donors to join its esteemed group of sponsors, including: The Viti Companies and First Bank of Highland Park. Anyone interested in sponsorship should contact Jacqueline Chilow, TAC’s Director of Events at 847-432-1888.

TAC Gala is the hottest ticket of the season, attracting more than 300 people from all over the North Shore, surrounding suburbs and the greater Chicagoland art community, and is expected to sell out quickly. Individual tickets are $150, or $130 for members, and can be purchased online as early as March 15th at www.TheArtCenterHP.org or by calling 847-432-1888. All Gala proceeds benefit The Art Center− Highland Park's Student Scholarship Fund and Outreach Programs, giving students of all ages access to the arts.
