SAVE THE DATE: THE ART CENTER - HIGHLAND PARK’S 56th ANNUAL GALA
HIGHLAND PARK, IL (APRIL 2016) – The Art Center – Highland Park (TAC) is reminding the public to save the date for its upcoming Annual Benefit Gala: on Thursday, May 4, 2016 at 7 p.m. This is TAC’s largest fundraising event of the fiscal year and money raised will fund art scholarships, classes, workshops, exhibitions, events and programs to make art accessible to everyone throughout the year. Celebrated arts professionals, leaders and supporters are expected to gather for the highly anticipated annual event, while enjoying fabulous food and entertainment. This year, TAC will present awards to two honorees whose support of the arts help TAC in a meaningful way. “We are excited about the event that is dedicated to art enrichment for everyone,” states Michele Cohen, TAC Executive Director. “Attending the event is one way to make a difference. Partner and sponsor contributions are also available, ensuring that the organization continues to present best-in-class programming to all.” New courses have been added to stay current in the art world. Further, TAC is rolling out a new Military Program providing course scholarships and exhibit opportunities to military families and an Art Welcome Program designed to maintain well-being through art. “Adding new programs to our current scholarship opportunities, not only offers more to those not ordinarily able to participate in art enrichment courses, but it positions TAC to have robust programming,” adds Cohen. “This could not be done without our partners and the support of those who attend the gala benefit. Our partners and supporters do make a difference.” Sponsorship levels range from $500 to $10,000+ and support up to 80 scholarships students as well as underwrite exhibits, classes and workshops for one full year. Anyone interested in being a partner should contact TAC at 847.432.1888. TAC attracts people from all over the North Shore, surrounding suburbs, and the greater Chicagoland art community, and the event is expected to sell out quickly. Individual tickets are $150 and can be purchased online at www.TheArtCenterHP.org or by calling 847-432-1888. Ticket prices increase on April 20 to $175 and may, also, be purchased at the door.
