The Highland Park Chamber of Commerce is actively engaged on the legislative front to protect our business community, to bring greater opportunity and prosperity to our businesses, and to work for changes that will foster an improved economic climate.

In January, the Chamber signed onto a coalition letter of over 650 chambers of commerce and business associations nationwide, urging the President and Congress to end the government shutdown. Why? Because of the significant and, in some cases, lasting damage to families, businesses, and the economy as a whole. You may read the letter HERE.

We encourage our members to advise us of the issues of greatest concern to them and their businesses, whether on the local, state or federal level. This knowledge will inform our discussions with elected officials.
