Whether you're new to jazz and improvisation or already have some experience\, MYAC's Chicago Jazz Workshop welcomes you!\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect: Students will be placed in jazz combos of 5-8 members. Focus on ensemble interaction\, accompaniment\, and improvisation through jazz standards. Gain a better understanding of how to control and manipulate the musical environment.\n\n\n\nDates and Times:\n\n    July 8 - 12\, 2024\n\n    Monday - Thursday: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM\n\n    Final Concert: Friday\, July 12 at 12:30 PM\n\n\n\nLocation: The beautiful and historic MYAC Center in Fort Sheridan 878 Lyster Road\, Highwood\, IL\n\n\n\nWho Can Join: Any student entering 6th grade or above as of Fall 2024. Advanced high school students and beginners are welcome. No audition required!
