SUMMARY:State of Education in Highland Park
DESCRIPTION:Highland Park Chamber hosts 3rd Annual State of Education\n\n\nThe Chamber\, joined by superintendents Dr. Michael Lubelfeld (North Shore School District 112)\, Dr. Kurt A. Schneider (TrueNorth Educational Cooperative 804)\, and Dr. Bruce Law (Township High School District 113) is excited to invite the business community and the community-at-large to this vibrant discussion that will address the current state of our local school systems. The superintendents will highlight the successes and challenges from this past year\, as well as look ahead to things to come.\n\n\n\nWhat does "post-pandemic" schooling look like? What does a school of the future look like today? Despite the setbacks of the past few years\, the state of education in our communities is both rejuvenated and strong. The quality of education and educational services are critical to the quality of life in a community\, and that's why the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the third annual State of Education.\n\n\n\n"North Shore School District 112 is modernizing educational facilities at both middle schools as well as planning for a possible referendum to upgrade the district's oldest elementary schools as part of its second phase of facility planning\," says Dr. Lubelfeld.\n\n\n\nDr. Schneider says\, "We are excited to share our partnership with District 113 at a new location in downtown Highland Park\, and our workforce development initiative with the Chamber. TrueNorth values the Highland Park Chamber as a partner in preparing students for life as citizens in a vibrant community."\n\n \n\n"This forum offers a chance to learn about changes in the instructional program that will create more opportunities for students\, financial stewardship in managing District 113 resources\, and future facilities' needs\," says Dr. Law.\n\n\n\nChamber President & CEO Ginny Glasner adds\, "Education is the pathway to employment. By putting the Chamber's convening powers to use\, we bring our leaders\, businesses\, and community members together for a conversation about this vitally important responsibility."\n\n\n\n_____________________________________________________\n\n\n\n \nThis program has the potential to reach a targeted audience of hundreds of engaged businesspeople\, families\, and community members\, through an in-person event\, and video stream recording hosted online.\n\n \n\nAligning your business brand with this initiative shows your engagement in this vital community issue\, keeps our businesses and residents informed and proactive and supports a thriving business community.\n\n \n\nClick HERE to view our Sponsorship Opportunities.
