The Highland Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Chamber president and CEO, Virginia (Ginny) Anzelmo Glasner, has been named 2020 chair of the board of the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (IACCE).
Glasner was elected unanimously during the IACCE annual celebration and awards dinner which was held in Champaign, Illinois. The association also recognized her more than 15 years of service to the Chamber industry.
“Ginny Glasner exemplifies what it takes to be a true leader in the chamber industry – not only has she worked to create impactful solutions in her own chamber, but she has shared her expertise with chamber executives across the state,” Lisa Weitzel, IOM, CAE, President of IACCE said. “Her service to IACCE continues to enhance the professionalism of the industry which also results in increasing the success of businesses who are chamber members. Ginny’s commitment to excellence and clear vision will help guide IACCE.”
David Giangiorgi, senior Vice President First Bank of Highland Park and immediate past-chair of the Highland Park Chamber Board of Directors, announced Glasner’s appointment at the chamber’s annual meeting on Dec. 5, 2019.
“This honor is a testament to Ginny’s commitment to ensure industry best practices for the Highland Park Chamber,” he said. “Our members benefit from the information and resources of IACCE, and our community benefits from smart business leadership.”
